Beauty is appreciated universally whether it is beauty of object, personal belongings, one’s nature or body. All beautiful objects/persons are beautiful because their dimensions are in a balance proportion. Whenever this balance is disturbed the beauty disappears. The fundamentals of cosmetic/aesthetic surgery are to rectify & to give this balance proportion to the dimensions of any part of face or body .

Every one try to achieve beautiful [ object, companion] or be beautiful [self] & one is proud of possession of beauty. That is why no one would be surprised to know the facts that most of wars were fought for beauty. Even today the hunt for beauty continues but these days the weapon is “cosmetic/aesthetic surgery”.

What is beauty ?

Beauty basically reflects  an assemblage of esthetic properties that commands approbation in the specific culture at that point in time. So according to this definition beauty has no universal criteria and varies from : culture to culture and century to century  [ now decade  to decade !!!!]

But  in today’s global world concept the criteria for beauty have more or less become similar every where & changing fast also.

Why cosmetic surgery?

In today’s competitive world you need to have minimum basic I. Q. Level. Similarly you need to have certain youthfulness & beauty so as  -to improve life style in a highly competitive society that places considerable   emphasis on youth and accepted standards of beauty. Cosmetic surgery is a demand of today’s society.

Dr. Pradip R. Atodaria passed his Secondary School Certificate with distinction from Surat. He passed his Higher Secondary School Certificate from Ahmedabad with flying colors in 1981. He as done his M.B., B.S. from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad in 1986. He has done his M.S. [General Surgery] from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad in 1989. He has done his M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery from Sheth K. M. School of Post-Graduate & Research, N.H.L Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad in 1992. Then he had worked as a Lecturer in Department of Plastic Surgery, New Civil Hospital, B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. Then he had worked with senior plastic surgeons at Mumbai.

Since June 1993 he is practicing as a consultant plastic surgeon at Harsiddhi Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery Hospital, Intesive Burns Care Unit,“ Indraprastha” , Hanuman Sheri, Opp. Sub-Jail Cross Road, Ring Road, Surat .     

He is a very regular & active participant in various State, National & Inter-National Conferences And Workshops on Cosmetic Surgery, Reconstructive Plastic Surgery & Burns. He also has presented his work at various conferences. He was selected by AAPI [American Association of Physicians of Indian origin] for training in burns & was an observer at Shriner’s Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.A. in 2003. He also had opportunity to work with various Laser &   Cosmetic Surgeons in Chicago, Illinois, Indiana, Los Angeles, California, USA in 2003. He has keen interest in Cosmetic Surgery & he has started an Exclusive Clinic -“Face n Figure”, Center for Laser, Cosmetic Surgery & Obesity, Ghod-Dod Road, Surat, Gujarat, India.
